Crafty Friday....

Im working in Norway at the moment, shooting a cookbook.
Right now we are at an amazing cabin by the sea outside of Oslo.
Its truly amazing how the nordic summer is. Mild, sunny and stunning.
Last night I slept outside under the stars, it was so quiet and all I could be was the sky.
So today I have to give you a fun sea related craft project.
This one is really easy.
You simply gather pretty and smooth rock and use a paint sharpie to draw nautical motifs on the rocks.
Its a great think to do on holiday as a little souvenir.

Love pebbles! I made my rocks as name tags, it's also a wonderful way to keep paper plates and napkins from flying away for an outdoor lunch or dinner :)

Finding a smooth rock on the shore is really hard because most of the rocks there a rough. I think you are lucky to get those rocks and in shapes.

My three kids used to paint pebbles, leave them on a mat by the beach(we were in Greece then) and people would leave money on the mat, and take the pebbles while the children were swimming. Did it ever make their summer more exciting, and the icecream-man happy!;)
