This is a really cool summer picnic idea.
A sandwich cake.
You fill it with whatever goodness you want and slice it up like a cake when serving it.
Sandwich cake
Such a fun way to serve sandwiches.
Fill with whatever you like, no rules here.
serves 4
1 large round bread
4 tablespoons pesto
greens
6 slices mozzarella
4 slices marinated peppers
8 slices of prosciutto
2 tomatoes, sliced
Start by cutting the top off the bread.
Scoop out most of the insides with your hand, make sure not to make any rips in the bread.
Layer it with pesto, greens, mozzarella, peppers, prosciutto and tomatoes.
Place the top back and slice into 4 cake like pieces.

Hello Sweet Paul, I have a lot of fun with the German magazine. While I can cook nor bake, but I have illustrated two of your delicious cakes and posted them on my blog. And lo and behold, my friend already wants to bake the lemon cake. (I hope for me). Thus, even friends have fun with your great recipes. Thank you so much.
