I used to love pressing flowers when I was a kid.
This project lets you preserve a little piece of summer all year around.
Summer shadowbox
You need:
*shadowbox, mine is from www.westelm.com
*pressed flowers
*cut out flowers from photos
*pins
*hot glue-gun
Start by cutting the flowers so that they fit in the box.
Hot glue pins on the back of them and gently press them into the back of the shadow box.
Try to layer them so it almost look like a garden.

It's wonderful how an idea like this one of yours will start my mind's grars a-rolling. I've just the items on hand to mke a great shadow box, and I never put the right two and two together. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for the idea! I have a stack of books in my room that have been pressing flowers for about six weeks. I hadn't been able to decide what to do with them. I think I'll couple your idea with a collage.

I love this idea, I'm always collecting flowers as I travel. Flowers and rock....rocks are not flat and a shadow box would be great to remind me of where and when i collected them.
