You know those little jam jars that you get on airplanes and hotels?
They can be reused for a really cute craft project.
Simply make a few small holes with a thin nail in the lid, fill the jar with salt or pepper and voila,...you have the perfect salt and pepper shakers ever.
Great for your breakfast table and picnic.
If you take them on a picnic simply put a small piece of tape over the holes so that you don't get salt and pepper all over your basket.

And you can also use them for a dressing shaker: put oil and vinegar, salt & pepper and other spices. Shake it baby!

I got some of the jars with jams in them from the store that sells salami/cheese. Also, delis have small jars.

You could also use a slightly larger jar and fill with a seasoning mix. Would be good for seasoning steaks or chicken. Love this idea!
