Did you know that you can deep fry artichokes?
All you need to do is take the small ones and cut them thinly lengthwise.
Heat up vegetable oil in a large pan and when the oil is hot fry the artichoke in batches.
Then they are golden take them out and place on paper. Drizzle with flaky sea salt.
Should be served right away.

Artichokes!? I thought it was some king of seaweed :) Looks great - I think I'd be brave enough to try some.

Oh my gosh these look wonderful! I've had fried artichoke hearts, but nothing like this.

We eat fried artichocks in Tuscany but out receipe foreseen to dip them in a cream Made of egg and flour and, sometime a little of bear.
This say of cutting them is very beautifull.
