I really love homemade gifts, you will get something unique and something that a person has put a lot of time and love into.
I made these hair pins for the jewelry story in Sweet Paul Holiday.
Don't they make like really cute holiday gifts?
They are easy to make and really inexpensive.
Hairpins
You need:
2"x20" silk chiffon
needle and thread
Hot glue gun
hairpins
Fold the fabric in half lengthwise and hand stitch regular up and down stitches in the fold.
Draw together like a drawstring so that the piece looks like a flower.
Hold it together with a few stitches.
Hot glue to the hairpins.
