Fall is time for dinner parties and even if we are only 3-4 people I always make a place card.
I don't know why, just think its kinda cute.
This is a really easy one.
Place your flatware in a bundle of kitchen string.
Print out the names, cut to size and fasten with a pin.
Easy and fun.

Have a fab weekend all.

Love that china! Any hints as to where it came from/might be available?

I love placecards too! I think it makes a more elegant table.
Quick question though, have you ever had guests ask you what to do with the placecards after they're seated? Perhaps mine are just not used to it, but sometimes they hand it back to me. Do you encourage them to take it? Do most just leave it?

This is a lovely idea, I also love dinner parties for no more that 4 to 6 people, so I can really focus on the details and decorate the table in creative ways like this one. :-)
