I have a cold...
I know, poor me.
The only thing I really crave when I have a cold is ice cream.
I don't know why but its like the ice cream makes everything better.
Guess thats why unhappy girls on tv always eats ice cream.
Anyhow, this is the perfect feel better ice cream recipe.
Apple and cinnamon Ice cream
Serves 8
3 green apples, grated
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
3 eggs
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup sugar
2 cups cream
amaretti biscuits for serving
Place apples, cinnamon, lemon juice and lemon zest in a bowl.
Mix well.
Place eggs, egg yolks, vanilla and sugar in a bowl of an electric mixer and mix until light and creamy.
Reduce speed and pour in cream and apple mixture.
Pour the mixture in a bowl and place in the freezer for about 6 hours.
Served with crushed amaretti biscuits.

Gosh, poor you! I have a cold too so I fully sympatize. I love the h&m sweater post! Fab! Visited your blog plenty of times before. Today I had to do a bit of shopping and it turns out that the little interior shop that was my choice for the day was run by your mum and sister. It´s a great shop with lots of beatiful interior stuff here in rural Norway.
Think I might try that ice cream.. will probably work wonders for my sore throat.
God bedring og fortsett med den fantastiske bloggingen! :D

Dear Paul,
you are so talented.
When I have a cold (knock on wood not to get one) I also crave ice cream ~ but there's more to this ~ when my kids were small and caught colds the pediatrician always said ~ (after the worst part like fever whatever was over with) he said let them eat whatever makes them happy and do whatever makes them happy. This actually worked. Happy lifts your moods thus your immune system goes back to normal. So do whatever makes you happy regardless and you will be all better :D You worked so hard in the month of December - it must have been exhausting! Also a trick I have is Tropicana pure orange juice any time I feel anything creeping in I drink a glass
Works like magic and goes quite well with ice cream :D
