Todays pumpkin is a little family scene from the forest.
Mommy and junior is having a yummy lunch while dad is on top of it all looking out for the hunters.
This is how you make this idyllic scene.
Cut a square hole in the centre of the pumpkin.
Scoop out all the seeds and stuff inside the pumpkin.
Cover the bottom of the pumpkin with moss.
In the front of the moss you stick in small trees.( mine are from a model shop here in NYC)
Put the dears in place and you are ready to go!

Help! For some reason the photos are replaced by a question mark - any ideas?

I'm back and the photos are, too (yay).
I love all the pumpkins -but this is simply adorable! No candle in there, though, or we could have a forest fire on our hands!
Thanks for all the great ideas-can't wait till tomorrow!

This is my favorite. I think I have some deer lying around from my son's 5th grade Fort Detroit display. But I threw out the trees last week! Maybe they're still in the garage. Keep your fingers crossed.

This is my favorite pumpkin. If I were to make one, I would make this. This would also make a great addition to any Thanksgiving decorating, not just October's Halloween...!
