This friday I leave you with a very simple yet stylish craft.
You need no gluegun, no sewing machine or anything else scary.
All you need is a beautiful old heart shaped( or other shapes) cake-tin and a bunch of vintage fabric flowers.
I got mine at Tinsel Trading here in New York.
You just place the flowers in the tin and voila, you have a beautiful centerpiece for your saturday dinner.

Have a fab weekend all!

Thank you for mentioning Tinsel Trading. It's wonderful what you were able to do with our flowers.

I have both a heart shaped pan just like this and some pretty flowers too. What a clever way to display them.

Dear Paul,
thank you for an isnpiring and creative blog.
You have asked us to let you know if we ever create things inspired by you and your blog. Well, I was very inpired last year when you did a post of a magazine work you had done, with letters and words, and in that magazine you had framed words or perhaps just letters of old typewriter keys.
I found a bunch of old typewriter keys and had them lying on the bottom of my drawers, until today, when I created a funny little piece using an old bookcover.
You can have a look at the outcome on my blog.
Wishing you a pleasant weekend!
Nina

Hey, I love your creative ideas and I'm always impressed by the stunning images in your blog. However, this is probably the most awkward thing you've posted. The photo looks amazing, but I always considered artificial flowers a bit kitschy... I really wonder how this would look on a table. I hope my comment doesn't bother you, I'm only intrigued and a bit curios about your suggestions.
