I did these images with photographer Frances Janisch a while ago.
They where supposed to be for a book cover, but never got to be used.
So I share them with you instead.

All of these photos remind me of the holidays---ribbons, wine and crumbs lingering from sweet treats. All are lovely.

Oh dear, I'm a total magpie when it comes to ribbons. I buy them with lofty ideas and the spools just languish in boxes because I can't bear to use them for anything. I think I'll just continue to admire and moon over the images from your post!

Love the bowl full of ribbons!
My young son was watching one of his shows on TV and I overheard the lines, "You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover." Reply: "Well then why do they decorate the covers?"
