I love recycling.
I just think its great to be able to use something others will throw out.
This time I made a piece of art of old typewriter keys.
I bought the keys at etsy, think they where around $10.
The frame is from West Elm.
So what I did was to glue the keys to a piece of white stock paper with a hot glue gun.(What would we do without).
Then I just put it in the frame and its ready.
Quick and very easy.

I had a beautiful old type writer when I was a kid ... i think it got trashed, what a pity I would have loved to have it now

This is excellent! I snagged a bag of vintage typewriter keys on eBay a looong while ago and have been waiting to do something fantastic with them...I just didn't know what.
I might just do this!

I love that it's recycled and I love the way it turned out! Do you mind if I pass the idea on at my blog?

I love this. Think I might actually have a go at copying this - a very simple but effective idea.

Love this idea...you have inspired me today...your image is amazing. I so would like a typewriter like that or maybe a red or one in robins egg blue.

Looks great! I am amazed at all the different uses I see for the typewriter keys. One of my cousins uses them to make bracelets, and they sell at craft shows like hotcakes.
