Candy cane martini
I did this martini as this years christmas card for Wine Spectator Magazine.
They wanted something christmasy and beautiful, so I came up with a candy cane martini.
1 oz vodka
1/2 oz peppermint schnapps
4 candy canes
cherry balls, if you want
Fill a shaker with crushed ice, vodka and schnapps.
Shake well and pour into glasses.
Garnish with candy canes and cherry balls.
Makes 4 glasses

I don't know about the cherries...but they look so great in the bottom of the glass...so why not! Looks mighty festive and refreshing, Paul! :)
