Black or white?

The last weeks I have been posting a all white dessert story and then last week I posted an all black fig story.
I got so many great comments on both of them, thank you so much for that.

Here we have two pictures taken of the props I got from both shoots.
I want to ask you, what appeals more to you?
The dark moody or the white airy?

I sometimes find it easier to work with dark backgrounds but there is somthing that is so etheral and calming about white. I guess that is not answering your question...Bottom line, it all depends on the mood I am in. White gives me more inspiration but dark is so classy too that it can really gives something simple a different dimension.

I prefer the dark moody one - it feels a bit mediteran and wicked to me. Like something I would dish up if I was to seduce someone.

Please don't do this to us! Both are beautiful and have different characteristics that work for them...If I had to vote I would go for the white one...it's so classy!

Sensa dubbi! I would go for the black. To me, not moody at all. Just intriguing and dramatic. Honestly.... Many "white blogs" (shabby white, romantic white with roses, angels etc...) are tedious. Many of them look the same. Time to "stick out". You do! Grazie! Bacione, Ingrid

I love them both, but I love the dark version a little bit more. It's different, maybe more seductive, and it catches my eye first.

hard to choose. the white is appealing for its warmth, but the black is also quite alluring. i'm going to have to go with the black, though. it's dark, mysterious, and moody. and i love the textures shown in the vase and the fringe in the blanket.

The white is great for a light look but I feel one sees this style so much, that the black with the figs feel different and exciting.

It´s like asking to decide between chocolat and cookies - just not possible. But as autumn is comming up, I would choose the black one. In March it would be the white one.

I like them both, but the white really appeals to me - great question!

They're both very beautiful, but the white one appeals to me more, I think because it feels welcoming and friendly. Like friends inviting you to sit at their table. The black one is more mysterious and intriguing - you're not sure what you're going to be getting into there. You're work is always lovely no matter what color!

I kite the dark one better. The dark invites. White is so innocent, but dark ... raises questions ;)

I find the white one more visually appealing. But I suspect I would find the desserts associated with the dark more delicious (chocolate!)

Both are simply gorgeous. I have a slight preference for the dark one though... I love the subtle hues and textures in it, and it is just so rich.

They are both beautiful! I think my preference depends on my mood. Today is cold and raining, so I'm feeling the dark one. Ask me on a warm sunny day and I'd probably go with the white!
