Shot this beet story for Interiormagazin last week.

Very happy with this one, don't mean to be full of myself, but hey.....its pretty good!
There is nothing better then leaving the studio after a good day shooting, it makes me feel very good.
I did the food, recipes and props for this one. Love doing it all.
And love beets.

wow paul, pat yourself on your back twice, these photos have so much texture, light, and stories to tell. i imagine a different person walking into each photograph, each person as different as the shots. these shots make me happy. happy about beets, pat yourself again on the back. kenn

I want to eat everything in the photos! Is that a polenta dish in one of the photos? i wish you told us the name of all the dishes and the recipes for them.

and I love beets too, we eat quite a bit of them in Russia)) I'm wondering about recipe of the dish in the last two pictures!!

all of these are so so beautiful! I actually think I'm addicted to beets although I always wondered why we call them beetroot over here in the UK...hmm a beet mystery!

I don't love to eat beets, but I love to look at them...especially when you've done the styling! That first one is the most gorgeous ever--such muted colors, silhouettes (one of my favorite decorating accents), and then those rube red jewels. Wow.

These all look fabulous, I need to get my hands on some of the different varieties and colours,

What amazing colors! I love that inventive way the recipes utilize beets: is that a scallop I see, and flatbread topped with beets? My favorite photo is the one where the beets look almost black. Beautiful!
