Doing my first guest blogging over at This week for dinner.
I was very happy to be asked to do this and it was lots of fun.
Check out the site for great food tips.
Here are some pictures from the cookbook SLURP.
Just a little teaser for you guys.
This was such a great shoot, we spent 10 days in Key West shooting, eating and drinking.
Life is hard!
I did the food and prop styling and Nina Dreyer and Jim Hensley did the photographs.
In this book you can sip, savor and satisfy your thirst for cool cocktails, silky smoothies, classic coffee drinks, tantalazing teas and much more.
We both present alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, along with recipes for tasty appetizer pairings and tips on entertaining, as well as hangover remedies for the day after.
The book is now out and you can get it on Amazon.
Taking a little stroll down memory lane. Must be a side effect of just turning 42.
But it has been fun to go back and se what I have been working on since I moved to New York.
Have been working for some fab magazines and some even "fabber" photographers.
So, this is my part 1 of my looking back series.
Photos by Colin Cooke, Steve Guiralt, Haley Harrison, Ellen Silverman and Frances Janisch.
Tanner is now 14 weeks.
Here she is resting on a blanket made by our friend Lori in LA.
Such a great gift.Thanks Lori!
Tanner is doing well, she is now 90% housebroken and gets more and more personality every day.
She can be a crack head sometimes, but hey, she is only still a puppy.
Thats what I tell myself when she shredded a whole toilette paper roll yesterday.
How she got hold of the roll?
No idea, this girl is smart!
Someone once asked me what kinda food I like to make and style the most.
The answer then and now have to be desserts and cakes.
I have always enjoyed making the 3 C's,cakes, cookies and cupcakes.
Just think they photograph beautifully and they usually quite yummy.
These are some C's from a Quick&Simple story, photos by Steve Giralt.
The winners for the SLURP cookbook giveaway is...................
LYNDSY from Yellow brick blog and TRESSA from Hallo bonbon bakeshop,SF.
I want to say thank you for all your great comments and birthday wishes.
Wish I could give you all a book each.
I was making a food story for Quick&Simple with photographer Steve Giralt a while ago.
Had these beautiful reddish small pears that we didn't use, so I made this small still life for Steve to shoot.
Must say there is few other fruits that are as sensual as pears.
Just got the first copies of my new book SLURP, drinks and light fare all day, all night.
Very proud, think they did a great job on it.
So now I want to share the book with you guys.
I am giving away two copies of the book.
Leave a comment and you are in!
The lucky winners will be announced monday 21st (My birthday, I will be 18++++)
Good luck!

Today I want to share with you guys the story I made in Key West.
